One of the challenges in a large family is learning to work together. I like to tell my children that if they can learn to get along with all the personalities in our family they will succeed in the world. Truthfully, it does not matter how much education a person has, if one does not possess the character to be flexible, forgiving and persevering any endeavor will flop. The following link is a funny example of my children trying to work together. Notice how the boys are not bothered at all by what the girls are doing and when Alexis has had enough she tries to firmly shut her brother up with out stopping their song. Observe also how Annalise stays focused as long as she can on the song inspite all that surrounds her. The whole thing is quite comical. Ignore me in the video :-)
