Hope

Just some random thoughts for the day:

This morning the kids and I were reading Deuteronomy 6-8. Moses was recounting the events that God led the Israelites through. Even when they were in bondage, in slavery, they had enough. When they were wondering around in the wilderness for 40 years, God provided them food everyday. Their clothes and shoes never wore out during their 40 years in the wilderness either. Though God was pruning them, He was providing for them.
His people went into Egypt numbering 70 and left by the millions. He blessed them even while in bondage. These passages hold a lot of history, information and instruction, but this morning I gleaned hope. God is faithful, even in dark times.
